The Company
hedgehog lab was founded in 2007 by Sarat Pediredla and Mark Forster.
After working behind the desk in IT for many years, where developers were constantly delegated to second-grade citizens, Sarat and Mark realised that there is a great opportunity in building a company that was centred around software developers.
Our first product was an outcome of the frustration Sarat faced when tasked with finding an enterprise bug tracking solution in his previous job. Disappointed with the lack of availability of an affordable enterprise product that did not involve talking to 5 different sales agents, installation manuals running into hundreds of pages, and interfaces that were conceived in the Stone Age, Sarat and Mark decided to write a simple bug tracking system that was easy to use, affordable, and lacked bloat. This led to our first product, fixx, which is now used by hundreds of companies all over the world.
